26 Nov 2007

Last weekend November 18, 2007, Lamsonkram Chuwatana, WBC Muaythai Middleweight Champion and Jill Diamond, World Boxing Cares, chairman had paid a visit to a youth hostile in Bangkok for the first launched of WBC Cares program.

All the abused and neglected children are taken care by the wonderful Teacher, named Kru Noi and her volunteer staffs have to take care almost 60 abused children between 1-12 years of age, in the center who gave them love and cares in order to turn around the sadness and protect them for ignorance of the society. There are more than 129 of abused children to some of the teenagers that Kru Noi had contributed on both health care and educational funds. We also found some of the teenagers who still studying and some already graduated and return to help Kru Noi to take care of the children.

Jill and Lamsongkram gave the children the little gifts and also Gen Kovid who inspired this program had made his donation to the center with highly appreciated by Kru Noi.
It is believed that this would be a good starter for World Boxing Cares to further establish the help and donation to the children with the support of the WBC Champions in the near future. The Green Team is ready to move now.
