Sunday, December 13, 2020: The journey to MuayThai stardom continues for young Pol Lloret as he captured the vacant WBC MuayThai European under-18 featherweight championship on last night’s Golden League promotion in Barcelona, Spain.

Loret, out of the renowned Internacional gym, showcased his impressive skill set, when he overcame a strong challenge from Latvian fighter Nikita Bricis, winning via a unanimous points decision to claim the WBC MuayThai European glory.

The contest itself saw Nikitia look to use his punching power to subdue the strong clinching and knee game of Lloret — from early on it was clear that the Spanish young gun was a pathway to victory with a calm, composed performance. With the final bell of the 5th round all three judges scored the bout 50-46.

On behalf of WBC MuayThai President, Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, and the entire team at the WBC MuayThai, we would like to congratulate Pol and his team for their night of success. A special mention to the team at Golden League promotions for hosting the WBC MuayThai championship on the behind closed doors event.
