Wednesday, October 21, 2020: This past weekend witnessed the return of competitive MuayThai action in the western Australian city of Perth. MTGP promotions hosted their first show of 2020 with two WBC MuayThai State championships taking center stage on the show with two new champions crowned.

Leo Nguyen became the new WBC MuayThai Western Australia super-lightweight champion when he overcame a massive challenge from his in-ring foe, Tim Mitchell. Leo, trained out of The Pit gym, by Blair Smith, rose to the occasion to capture the State championship strap.

A massive congratulations goes to Megan Berberick on becoming the new WBC MuayThai Western Australia featherweight champion. She overcame a formidable opponent, Shannon Peek, to claim the WBC MuayThai regional championship strap.
Megan is trained by Darren ‘Riddler’ Reece out of Riddler's gym. Congrats to the entire team at the gym for Megan’s night of WBC glory.

On behalf of WBC MuayThai President, Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, and the entire team at WBC, we send a special thanks to Gavin Fuller and his team at MTGP promotions for putting on another great show and send our gratitude for hosting two WBC MuayThai title fights on the event.
