Redemption: A simple word with such defining meaning for Australia’s Chadd Collins as he embarks on his second journey towards winning a coveted and prestigious World Boxing Council MuayThai world title.

This coming Monday the 9th of September Collins will face off against Thailand’s Satanfaa Rachanon for the vacant WBC MuayThai super-welterweight world title.

The last time Collins stepped over the ropes at Bangkok’s famous Lumpinee stadium he squared off against Brazilian fighter Luis Cajaiba for WBC MuayThai welterweight world title — in a contest he came up short in — as Cajaiba won the glory on that occasion, via a unanimous points decision.

Fast forward two months and redemption is close for the Aussie shark as he gets ready to collide with Rachanon gym megastar, Satanfaa, for the aforementioned vacant 154Lb world championship title.

The contest will headline a special super-show to commemorate Chinese/Thai relations at Bangkok’s Lumpinee stadium. The show will feature ten contests featuring MuayThai fighting stars from across the globe.
