GHANA IS THE DESTINATION FOR WBC DISTINCTION

13 Feb 2019

Ghana, and it’s capital city of Accra is the destination for the first WBC MuayThai world title contest of 2019.

Two young ladies from opposite sides of the globe — but both chasing WBC glory — will collide for the vacant WBC MuayThai female super-bantamweight (122 Lbs) world championship strap.

The protagonists:

29-year old Swiss fighter, Natacha De Almeida, will take on 28-year old Malaysian fighter Dolphinia Waltertony.

Dolphinia brings a little more ring experience into this contest, but the Swiss fighter, Natacha, is looking to seal Switzerland’s very first WBC MuayThai female world title.

The showpiece encounter takes place on Saturday the 9th of March on the ‘Defenders of Ghana’ fight promotion.

On behalf of WBC MuayThai global Chairman, Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, WBC President, Mauricio Sulaiman, and the entire team at the World Boxing Council, we wish both ladies the best of luck for their upcoming encounter.
