FRANCE VERSUS THAILAND FOR WBC MUAYTHAI GLORY

21 Aug 2018

Monday, August 20th: The clock is ticking — the chief protagonists are putting in the final touches of sharpening their elite MuayThai weapons ahead of this Thursday night’s highly anticipated WBC MuayThai super-middleweight world title contest at Bangkok’s famed Rajadamnern Stadium.

France based Best of Siam promotions have teamed up with Thailand’s Sor Sommai promotions to put together a stellar fight card, which is stacked with global MuayThai stars.

One of those scintillating matchups will see Thailand’s Thongchai ‘The Terminator’ Sitsongpeenong square off against French fighter Hamza Ngoto for the vacant WBC MuayThai super-middleweight (168Lbs) world championship title.

Thongchai, training out of Bangkok’s famous Sitsongpeenong gym is a former elite champion from the iconic Lumpinee stadium and will be looking to add a coveted WBC MuayThai strap to his collection of accolades.

Hamza, boasting a professional fight record of 42 wins from 43 contests will look to become the latest Frenchman to claim a beautiful green belt in front of what should be a frenzied crowd at Bangkok’s famed and storied Rajadamnern Stadium.

On behalf of our Chairman Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi and all the team at the WBC we wish both fighters the best of luck for their upcoming contest.
