DENMARK SCORES TWO WORLD TITLES

Denmark entered into the major league of the WBC MUAYTHAI when it staged two world titles in the cities of Copenhagen and Arthus.
In the capital of Copenhagen Danish fighter Basam Chahour won the Light Heavyweight title in a thrilling points win over the tough European warrior Simon Lenetof. Basam showed great courage to finish the last two rounds with an injured knee, and had to fend off a fierce last ditch elbow assault.
Meanwhile in the port city of Arhus Thailand's superstar Rajadamnern stadium champion Nopadet Chuwattana won the WBC welterweight world title with a tight points decision over the tough and gallant local hero Leroy Beck.
Although Beck was knocked down in the second round he fought back brilliantly forcing Nopadet to use all skills to defend his points lead.
Four International contests were also held on the same card. Denmark's Ashley Beck won TKO2 over Britain's Danny Brown, local champion Ali Chahour defeated Yama Mustafa TKO5, Ota Merling won on points against Henrik Nyeguard and Britain's bantamweight sensation Dale White easily eclipses challenger Sebastian Ocana.
