France based Best of Siam promotions, in conjunction with Thailand’s Songchai promotions, are hosting a night of elite MuayThai action at the world famous Lumpinee stadium in Bangkok, on Tuesday the 27th of February.

Two exciting matchups on the event will be contested for coveted WBC MuayThai world titles: Welterweight (147lbs, 66.678kg) and Featherweight (126lbs, 57.153kg).

French fighter BoBo Sacko will square off against Thailand’s Buakiew from the famed Sitsongpeenong gym, for the vacant WBC welterweight world title.

Sacko is coming off an impressive points victory over former WBC world champion, England’s Liam Harrison, a fight which took place back in December 2017 — the French fighter is currently ranked number eight in the WBC welterweight world rankings.

Buakiew goes into this world title fight on the back on a big points win over the current Rajadamnern Stadium super welterweight champion, Sibmuen Chuwattana gym.

Moreover, Buakiew is the current Lumpinee stadium super welterweight champion — and is currently ranked number four in the WBC welterweight world rankings.

The second bout which will be contested for a WBC world title features another battle of France versus Thailand.

This time, it’s Tor Laksong gym fighter, Pakkalek, who will have the honor of representing his country, when he goes into battle against French-Algerian fighter Elias Mahmoudi.

Pakkalek, the older brother of MuayThai prodigy Gingsanglek is currently ranked number six in the WBC featherweight world rankings -- the Issan native had a very successful 2017, and will be looking to take that form into this title fight against Elias.

Elias, for his part is the rising star of European MuayThai. He has forged himself a fearsome reputation for his smooth as silk ring craftsmanship. He is coming off a fantastic points victory over Chinese fighter Yin Shuai, a fight which took place in Switzerland back in December 2017.
