WBC President Sulaiman and Mayweather with the WBC Money Belt

Floyd Mayweather was praised for ?doing boxing proud? after beating UFC star Connor McGregor in 12 rounds of boxing in Las Vegas. The triumph was Mayweather?s 50th victory - and he kept his unbeaten record.
A masterful Mayweather stopped McGregor by TKO in the 10th round.
WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman said that Mayweather?s victory showed to millions of people the great art of self-defense, the great art of boxing, which had been developed throughout the years.
?Mayweather didn?t take a step back. He did boxing proud.?
Speaking at the WBC convention in Baku, Azerbaijan, the WBC President said ?Money? Mayweather had showed why boxing had withstood the test of time dating back to the Marquees of Queensberry rules that was drafted 1867 in London and accepted as the code of rules for the sport of boxing.
The WBC had presented Mayweather with the Emerald Belt after he won the showdown fight with Manny Pacquiao. The undefeated champion added to his collection the WBC Money Belt, which contained 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 160 emeralds and about 3.3 pounds of 24-karat gold.

The Money Belt took many hours of skillfull work by artisans and regarded as the priceless piece for the historic Mayweather/McGregor event.
