TO SECURE THREE WBC GREEN BELTS

Scotland claims super feather International title

Keith McLachlan has won the WBC MUAYTHAI International Super Featherweight (58.9kg) Championship with a hard fought points win against Aaron O'Callaghan over 5 rounds at the On-X Arena Linwood, Paisley, Scotland on 26 March.

The event promoted by John O’Brien fulfilled expectations with McLachlan holding a slight points advantage in each round.

The judges’ all scored in favor of McLachlan 46-50, 46-50, 45-50

This is the third WBC green belt McLachlan has won - his latest International title adding his WBC National Title and WBC Challenge victories.

Referee Neil Ross, enjoyed an incident-free championship with both contenders showing outstanding sportsmanship.

On the same event the UK Flyweight Championship was a technical shoot-out with Kat Paton out-pointing Jenna Ross through astute use of the ring to out-pace and counter attack Jenna Ross, who was slightly the stronger fighter.

All three judges scored the contest in favor of Paton 50-45, 48-47, 58-45.

The referee was Neil Ross.
