Sakkedao WBC Muay Thai world super lightweight champion faces tough challenge in Japan

Thailand super lightweight world champion Sakkedao Petchpayatai will defend his WBC title against outstanding Japanese challenger Tetsuya Yamato in Tokyo on 15 November.

The event promoted by Kyoji Saito - schedule in the Korakuen Hall - is a showdown between the best Thai and Japanese Muay Thai rivals.

Tetsuya is the current WBC International champion and he steps up to the world championship full of confidence that he can successfully match the great Thai champion.

Sakkedao has been the WBC super lightweight world champion since October 2011.

The other official champions in the super lightweight weight division are Interim World Champion Aranchai Kiatpatrarapan and the Diamond Belt Champion Saenchai P.K. Saenchaimuaythai.
