WBC world super lightweight champion Saketdaow Petchpayatai will defend his title against Japanese challenger Tetsuya Yamoto in Las Angeles, USA on 16 May.

Saketdaow who last defended his title in the Battle for the Belts triumph is one of Thailand?s elite Muay Thai champions and a crowd favorite at the popular Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

Tetsuya is one of Japan?s top Muay Thai fighters and currently holds the WBC International Championship in the super lightweight division.

On the same event America?s WBC Muaythai International Champion Romie Adanza will star in a WBC approved superfight against Thailand?s Jomhod Sagmmi in the super flyweight division.

The joint promoters of the event are Kem Chatchaiyan and Montri Sunpanich.
