Andy Singh recorded an impressive points win to take the WBC USA National championship (118 lbs) against Anthony Castrejon. Both contenders went into the championship undefeated Singh 2-0 and Castrejon 3-0 in the Lion fight Muay Thai 7 on October 13.

Singh established control of the fight early and continued to use strong punches and kicks to score throughout the fight to win a unanimous decision.

In the WBC Female International Championship (122 lbs) Tiffany Van Soest defeated Jeri Sitzes.

Van Soest won convincingly using her ability to apply constant pressure with leg kicks and punches.

In other contests:

Gregory Choplin used all weapons to win unanimously over Joe Valtellini by points and showed that he is a bright prospect for a WBC title next year.

Experienced Thai warrior Coke Chunnawat scored a 4th round KO against a brave Adrian Morilla.

And Joe Schilling suffered a surprise lose while fighting at 180 lbs in a division heavier than his normal fighting weight. Schilling lost by KO to Eddie Walker in a second round upset.
