For the very first time in history, a boxing organization has invited boxing fans from around the world to its convention to mix and mingle with some of the greatest boxers, referees, promoters, judges and representatives from all the affiliated WBC organizations.

A strong international contingent of Muay Thai delegates will be among more than 1000 who will converge on the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino for the week-long World Boxing Council convention in Las Vegas from 11-17 December.

Past and present boxing stars attending include: Vitali Klitschko, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Oscar de la Hoya, Terry Norris, Hector "Macho" Camacho, Bernard Hopkins, Lennox Lewis, Sugar Ray Leonard, Julio Cesar Chavez, Larry Holmes, Jeff Fenech and Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez.

The rights of female boxers - including fair pay - will be among the topics discussed at this year's WBC 49th annual convention.

Other items listed for discussion include the establishment of an international VISA for boxers, the making of a medical website that includes all the clinic data of the fighters and a passport that includes all the medic data.

Las Vegas will make history in hosting the event where international boxing stars will reunite.

Gen Kovid has headed the WBC MUAYTHAI for the past six years.
