The first WBC Diamond Belt awarded to Saenchai Sinbi and the famous green and gold WBC World Championship belts being worn for the first time by Lumpinee Stadium's top gun Sakkedao Petchpayathai and the great Raja champion Jomthong Chuwattana are some of the Muay Thai highlights for 2011.

The past year also saw the rise of the USA as a Muay Thai country giant with the unbeaten Joe Shilling winning the Interim Light Heavyweight Title that brings about the ultimate unification championship showdown with Russia's Artem Levin.
