Jomtong Chuwattana

Nine WBC championships - one WBC world boxing title defence, three WBC Asian Boxing Council championships and five WBC MUAYTHAI world titles - will be staged on the one event in Bangkok (4 November) to honor Rama 1X His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej sixth cycle reign and 84th birthday celebration on 5 December that is also Thailand's national day.

The prime feature of the nine championships will be the first title defence of WBC Super Flyweight (115 lbs) Champion Suriyan Sor Rungvisai against Japan's Nabuo Nashiro.

Jomthong Chuwattana (Thai), one of best Muay Thai fighters in the world, will fight against Japan challenger Hiromasa Masuda for the WBC MUAYTHAI Lightweight World Title, and top ranked Bantamweight Kaimookdam Chuwattana will face Kunitaka - the highly regarded Japan challenger.

The WBC Asia boxing championships include: Super Flyweight, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (THA) VS Udi Arima (INA); Super Batamweight Yodchanchai Nakornloung (THAI) VS Almar Fransisco (PHI); Super Featherweight Navapol Sor Rungvisai (THA) VS Eddy Comero (THA).

The nine championships event follows the support and approval of the Thailand Senate Committee as a special celebration sports event in honour of honor the King, and is a co-promotion of Nakorloung and Choocharoen.

All nine championships will be televised live on Channel 3 and Channel 7 across the nation.
