AS WBC TITLES WON IN PRIMM, NEVADA

Joe Schilling wins in Primm, Nevada

WBC MUAYTHAI consolidated its strength as the major stand-up combat ring sport in USA with the success of the event at Buffalo Bill's Casino in Primm, Nevada last Saturday (20 August).

The WBC sanctioned event - presented by promoter Scott Kent - featured the Muaythai Super Fight between Cosmo Alexandre and Thailand's Sakmongkol Zingano.

Sakmongkol won by a unanimous close points decision - 47/48, 47/48, 47/48.

In the co-main event for the WBC Muaythai Interim Middleweight World Title (160 lbs), Ky Hollenbeck won unanimously by points over Simon Chu - 50/45, 49/47, 49/47.

The WBC Muaythai Interim International Title ( 155 lbs) saw Chaz Mulkey score a unanimous points win over Remy Bonnel - 48/46, 48/46, 48/47.

In the WBC national title (175 lbs) Joe Schilling continued his outstanding form and winning streak with a TKO over Brandon Banda in the first round.

And in the WBC female National Title (122 lbs) Jeri Sitzen scored a TKO over Misty Sutherland in the third round.
