Yuya makes world news on the cover of Muaythai Boxing News after his TKO of reigning champion Fabrio Pinco in the Thai Fight showcase in Cannes

Young Japanese MuayThai upstart warrior Yuya Yamato stunned the world when he scored an elbow-slicing TKO decision against the French reigning WBC MUAYTHAI and current Thai Fight super lightweight champion Fabio Pinca at the Thai Fight showcase in Cannes.

As expected, Pinca cruised through the first round with the promoter's only concerns that the world champion was too far ahead of his Japanese match-up. But things suddenly turned ugly for the Frenchman when, early in the second stanza, Yuya in Samurai-style all-or-nothing attack landed a barrage of elbow strikes onto his opponent's face and head. One right elbow sliced so deep that the referee stopped the contest.

As expect the Thai Fight "all stars" tour to Cannes gave a clinic in Thai fighting mastery and easily won against their selected foreign rivals.

The official Thai Fight results in Cannes:
Saiyok Pumpanmuang defeated Ibrahima Njie Jarra by referee stoppage
