Bosch blast heavyweight KO win in Mexico

The WBC MUAYTHAI heavyweight explosion in Mexico on 2 April lived up to all expectations which a packed venue witnessed a frenetic first round KO that projected Argentina's Cristian Bosch to become the WBC MUAYTHAI heavyweight champion

Bosch knocked out Mexican Raul Romero (Mexico) after 20 seconds in an sensationally opening burst that had the fans roaring.

Such was the intensity of the contest that the Mexican-dominated audience are now convinced that the WBC MUAYTHAI is the real deal for stand-up combat.

The fight has been sanctioned for the vacant world title after the heavyweight division stalled with Shane Rosario unable to defend his title for two years.

Before the fight Bosch promised to revitalize the heavyweight division after the title had been locked up for years.

The new champion wants two quick voluntary defenses before taking on a mandatory challenger.
