to earthquake victims in Japan

Japanese female Muaythai champion Ayano Oishi has dedicated her world title challenge for the WBC MUAYTHAI female bantamweight championship to the victims of the Earthquake and tsunami that have devastated her homeland.

Ayano will contest the vacant batamweight title against Tiana Caverley in Perth, Australia, on 27 May.

The boxing data shows Oishi (24) with 11 wins, 4 loses and one draw while Caverely (34) has 28 wins, 10 loses and two draws.

Both contenders have won WBC MUAYTHAI National Championships and both view the coming world title as the pinnacle point in their sporting careers.

The WBC has rescheduled world boxing contests in Japan and the WBC MUAYTHAI female world championship in Perth will pay tribute to the courage of the Japanese during this stressful time in the aftermath of a natural disaster.
