BRITISH AMBASSADOR SUPPORTS
WBC MUAYTHAI IN U.K.

British Ambassador to Thailand Mr Quinton Quayle has met with Senator Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi at the British Embassy in Bangkok where he offered his support for the WBC MUAYTHAI throughout the United Kingdom.

Ambassador Quayle told General Kovid, Chairman of the WBC MUAYTHAI and Vice President of the World Boxing Council that Muaythai was popular in Great Britain and that men and female British Muaythai practitioners have fought for WBC MUAYTHAI world titles.

The WBC MUAYTHAI U.K. COMMITTEE has been established to coordinate activities for WBC MUAYTHAI in the United Kingdom.

One of the key responsibilities of the committee is to provide ratings of Muaythai practitioners in the U.K. and to select suitable contenders for National, International and World Championships.
