This year?s WBC convention will be held in the Caribbean at Cancun, Mexico, from 31 October ? 6 November.

A full agenda for Muaythai will be presented to delegates for discussion and voting during dates set aside 4-5 November. Listed for discussion is the rankings and championships for National, International and World Championships. As well the proposal for establishing regional zones with championship events for Europe, Pacific/Asia and the Americas.

Committees are being finalized to represent Japan, Australia, USA and France.

The WBC MUAYTHAI holds its yearly gathering as part of the World Boxing Council annual convention, which is attended by delegates representing the 164 countries organization of the WBC. WBC MUAYRTHAI and WBC Boxing share the same interests for safety standards, refereeing and scoring standards, as well as ratings and ranking criteria for championships in respective weight divisions.

General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, Vice-President of the WBC and Chairman of the WBC MUAYTHAI will be at the Cancun convention where he will deliver his yearly address to Muaythai delegates.

WBC MUAYTHAI has gained worldwide publicity from the global media that have attended previous conventions held in Korea, China, Philippines, Croatia and Spain.
