Thailand?s Muaythai master and living legend Saenchai S. Saenchai wants to meet top ranked USA Muaythai hero in a WBC Muaythai World Championship.

?I haven?t had the opportunity to win a WBC belt and I?ve heard that Kevin Ross is one of the best of the farangs (in the super lightweight division) and has made a name for himself here in Thailand,? said Saenchai shortly before stepping into the Lumpinee ring where he went on to beat his rival Aekeddao Petchpayath easily on points. On the same card Singdam Kaitmoo 9 beat Nong-O for the Lumpinee Super Featherweight championship.

Ross and Saenchai were headed for a showdown in an eight-man tournament recently staged in Thailand, but Ross slipped up in losing the second elimination.

After losing Ross paid his respects to Saenchai saying that he was the ?most complete? Muaythai fighter in the world today. ?It would be a great honour to fight the greatest. I would rise to the occasion ?that?s for sure.?

Saenchai said when he gets the opportunity to fight Ross it would be a good test. ?I?d probably win it with a KO punch,? he predicted.
