WBC SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BRINGS TOP MUAYTHAI TO GERMANY

Germany will be host to a WBC International Super Middleweight title event on 9 May when two of Europe?s most highly regarded Muaythai fighters will dual for championship honours in Trier.

The WBC #8 world ranked Otta Merling from Slovakia will fight Youssef Ouahnini (Morocco) with the winner becoming the mandatory contender for the WBC World Title to be staged in Germany later this year.

Ouahnini is one of the most polished Muaythai combatants in Europe and has impressed with his comprehensive Muaythai weaponry along with his high skill level and ability to compete against first class opponents holding a record of 37 wins with 14 KO and six loses.

Merling has been a consistently strong Muaythai fighter and has held a top ranking with the WBC official ratings.
